Thoughts on life, Japan, culture, book reviews, web design, Linux, DYI, urbanism, birding, fishing, cricket, education, snowshoeing, life-long learning, dogs, sketching, and all the rest.
This blog is self-hosted out of my apartment using a Raspberry Pi (a small kit computer). It is a place to explore passions, develop creativity, and send out to the world things that interest me. It will constantly be evolving but will be completely under my control for the small cost of $10.95 a year. In that sense, I look at this as a modern form of short wave radio. Most importantly it is fun. You can visit the front-end of this site at snowsoversapporo.com.
